Have you ever wondered where is the oldest rainforest in the world? It is called Daintree, it is 120 million-year-old and it is located in Queensland, Australia. In the past few years, Australia has been affected by devastating fires. This is one of the reasons why Green Reconnection decided to join the cause because we believe that we should heal our relationship with nature. By protecting the oldest rainforest in the world, and giving the land back to the Traditional Owners, we can then prevent fires and biodiversity loss.
Whether you live in Australia or on the other side of the world, conserving the Daintree, the oldest rainforest is one of the best ways to fight climate change. It is home to thousands of species, some of which are in danger of extinction.
This year I am teaming up with ReverseIndustree, an outstanding Australian Company that invited me to contribute to this beautiful cause.
If you ever feel like you can’t make a difference regarding the climate crisis, supporting these fundraisers is the perfect way to start. Your contribution can make a difference. With as little as 2.5 dollars you protect one square meter of this beautiful rainforest. You can know more about the campaign and donate here.
